The blog of Henley Business School's sailing group. We are a team of alumni, staff and current MBA students who compete in yacht racing. Our events each year are centred around the MBA Sailing League, a tough series of yachting regatta's run for business schools from Europe and beyond.

Preparation for the 2013 season
Our team preparation for the 2013 MBA sailing season is underway with the crew members currently being confirmed. Our hope to take part in the Athens event did not happen due to scheduling issues but we are very firmly focused on the Cranfield regatta in July.
We are pleased to see some rule changes this year with the introduction of two classes, separating the professional skippers from the business school skippered teams. Last year we came 8th in the regatta (out of nearly 30 boats) but if you excluded the Sunsail professional skippers we came in at 3rd. We wait to see the impact of this on the MBA Sailing League.
See this link for more information on the Cranfield Regatta.

2013 MBA Regattas
The sailing group is currently getting the 2013 team mobilised. The Henley team are hoping to enter more than just just the Cranfield event this year, competing in at least one other regatta from the 'MBA Sailing' series. See http://mbasailing.com for full details of the regatta events.
